We all need to look after ourselves and build our resources, to be able to do everything else!
In recent times we have faced and overcome so many challenges. Many had an impact on our wellbeing. Everyone had to adapt to frequent, rapid and sometimes substantial change. Each of us has felt this at an individual level, with the wider statistics of COVID-19 a reflection of millions of stories at a personal level.
As time goes on, many of us are finding it harder as our resources are depleted. Therefore, it is important we prioritise our wellbeing and rebuild these resources. Sadly, whilst most people know this to be important, many don’t make it a priority.
This workshop is designed to address this mismatch.
- Increase understanding of what we mean by psychological (mental) wellbeing and the impact of stress
- Identify simple ways in which we can help ourselves overcome obstacles to prioritising self-care
- Know that self-care is not a luxury, but a priority, to ensure we have the physical and mental resources we need to be able to do everything else
- Leave the session with a clear action plan for your self-care
